Under HEALTH CENTER – MEDICAL DOSSIER you can easily and quickly document medical information about your athletes. This module is ideal for the club’s medical staff, among others.<\/p>\n

Request access to data<\/h3>\n\n\n

The club admin can specify that all coaches must obtain access permission from the athletes in order to view their medical records.<\/p>\n\n\n

The club admin makes this setting by clicking on the \u201cblue button<\/strong>\u201d at the top right of the dashboard. This takes them directly to the settings. Further information can be found in the settings article<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As soon as this setting has been activated, all coaches must click on \u201cRequest Access<\/strong>\u201d on the right under MY ATHLETES for the athletes for whom they wish to view the medical entries. It is also possible to select several athletes at the same time and click on the \u201cRequest button<\/strong>\u201d at the bottom.<\/p>\n

You will be notified as soon as the athlete has authorized the request. From this point on, you will have access to their medical entries.<\/p>\n\n

Enter new medical entry<\/h3>\n

To create a new medical entry, you can either click on \u201c+ New Medical Entry<\/strong>\u201d under DASHBOARD or on \u201c+ New<\/strong>\u201d under MEDICAL ENTRIES. Assign a specific category to the entry (Concussion, Physio Treatment, Doctor Consulting, Sport Medicine Consultation or Medication) and select the athlete for whom this entry is intended. Enter the date, a title and an event and, if required, a body part, a location and a description. Then click on \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Send messages to coaches<\/h3>\n

You can find all medical entries in the menu under MEDICAL ENTRIES. Click on a name to go to the respective entry.<\/p>\n

Under Updates you can enter general updates for this entry on the left-hand side. To do this, click on the \u201c+ symbol<\/strong>\u201d, write the message and save it with \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

On the right-hand side, you can send messages to coaches. Click on the \u201c+ symbol<\/strong>\u201d, select the coaches to whom the message should be sent and activate the \u201cNotify by email<\/strong>\u201d option.<\/p>\n

All updates and messages for this medical entry are saved as a log in the overview. This provides a comprehensive overview of the current medical status of the athletes.<\/p>\n\n

Add attachments<\/h3>\n

If you switch to the \u201cAttachments<\/strong>\u201d tab, you can add additional files to this medical entry. Simply click on \u201c+ New<\/strong>\u201d. Enter a name, upload the desired file, and finally click on \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Concussions<\/h3>\n

Particular attention is paid to the assessment of symptoms of concussions. If you have selected the category \u201cConcussion<\/strong>\u201d for a medical entry, you have the option of completing the recognized SCAT5 protocol<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Each medical entry for a concussion has a status. After entry, this status is set to \u201cActive<\/strong>\u201d. Now select the \u201cSCAT5<\/strong>\u201d tab. If you click on \u201c+ New<\/strong>\u201d, you can carry out a symptom assessment of the athlete. There is a scale from 0 to 6 for all symptoms. At the end of the questionnaire, the athlete must answer the question \u201cIf 100% is normal, how well do you feel?<\/strong>\u201d. If less than 90% is indicated here, the status of this concussion automatically remains \u201cActive<\/strong>\u201d. If at least 90% is indicated in this question, you can decide when saving the questionnaire whether the concussion status should be changed to \u201cClosed<\/strong>\u201d or not.<\/p>\n\n

You can change the status of the concussion yourself at any time. Simply click on the \u201cpencil symbol<\/strong>\u201d next to the status and change the status.<\/p>\n\n\n

At any given time, only one \u201cactive\u201d concussion is possible for an athlete.<\/p>\n\n\n

Edit\/delete medical entry<\/h3>\n

Click on a medical entry and then on the \u201cpencil icon<\/strong>\u201d in the top right-hand corner to edit the entry. If you click on the \u201ctrash can symbol<\/strong>\u201d, you can delete the entry.<\/p>\n

Dashboard<\/h3>\n

Under DASHBOARD you have an overview of the last updated medical entries, number of active concussions, the last status changes of your athletes as well as key figures on the daily value reports of the last 30 days.<\/p>\n\n

Venues<\/h3>\n

Under VENUES you can enter location details for important medical facilities such as doctors’ surgeries, clinics or hospitals. All locations are displayed on the overview map.<\/p>\n

To enter a new location, click on \u201c+ New<\/strong>\u201d and enter all the required details in the window that appears. The location will only appear on the map if you also enter an address under \u201cMapBox Geolocation<\/strong>\u201d. Under \u201cEquipment<\/strong>\u201d you can select which medical equipment is available at this location. You have to create the list of possible equipment yourself beforehand. Simply click on \u201cEquipment<\/strong>\u201d, enter a name and click on the \u201cSave icon<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n
