An <strong>activity<\/strong>, in turn, contains individual exercises. So if you want to plan trainings, you have to create <strong>activities <\/strong>and add the corresponding exercises to them if needed. You can learn how to create individual exercises in <a href=\"https:\/\/help.force8.coach\/en\/knowledge-base\/1-exercises\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/help.force8.coach\/en\/knowledge-base\/1-exercises\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">article 1) Exercises<\/a>. If desired, you can add a description. It is mandatory to select an FTEM level. If you are working without FTEM levels, select all. All terms entered here will later be taken into account in the search function and you can filter by the corresponding FTEM levels.<\/p>\n<p>If you check the \u201c<strong>Add to club activities<\/strong>\u201d box, the activity will be made available to all other club coaches and athletes. Then click on \u201c<strong>Next<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Here you define the various properties of the activity. Select the mandatory types and optional methods. Also decide whether you would like to obtain feedback from the athletes (more about this in <a href=\"https:\/\/help.force8.coach\/en\/knowledge-base\/6-athletes-feedback\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article 6) Athlete Feedback<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>For the additional properties, you must move the slider to the right to activate these properties. Save your entries by clicking on \u201c<strong>Save<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">You can add any number of types and methods to an activity. However, you can only select one type and one method at a time when planning.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The activity has been created and you are now directly in this activity.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the &#8220;<strong>Details<\/strong>&#8221; tab you can customize the name, (short) description, location and total time.<\/li>\n<li>In the &#8220;<strong>Exercises<\/strong>&#8221; tab you can add exercises to an activity (more on this below).<\/li>\n<li>In the &#8220;<strong>Properties<\/strong>&#8221; tab you can set and edit the properties of the activity.<\/li>\n<li>In the tab &#8220;<strong>Elements<\/strong>&#8221; you can see the element tree of your sport. Link the activity to the corresponding elements by clicking the checkbox(es) next to the elements you want to assign to the activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> If you have only added one type or method to an activity, set this as the default in the \u201c<strong>Properties<\/strong>\u201d tab.<br>This means that it is automatically chosen during planning and you do not have to select it again each time.<\/p>\n\n\n<h4>Add exercises to an activity<\/h4>\n<p>If you are in an activity click on the &#8220;<strong>Exercises<\/strong>&#8221; tab. Click on &#8220;<strong>+ New Exercise<\/strong>&#8220;. Check the boxes to the left of the exercises you want to add to this activity. You can also search for terms in the search box or filter by items above or use exercise filters. Read more in <a href=\"https:\/\/help.force8.coach\/en\/knowledge-base\/6-athletes-feedback\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article 6) Athlete Feedback<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Customizing the properties of exercises<\/h4>\n<p>Click the \u201c<strong>gear icon<\/strong>\u201d to the right of an exercise. In the window that opens, you&#8217;ll see the four predefined properties\u2014Sets, Repetions, Weight, and Time at the top. Slide the sliders for the properties you want to use and enter the corresponding values.<\/p>\n<p>If you select Sets and at least one other property, the \u201c<strong>Customize Sets<\/strong>\u201d option will appear.<br \/>If you activate this, you can set the properties individually for each set.<\/p>\n<p>Further down, in the \u201c<strong>Extra Properties<\/strong>\u201d section, you can also activate your custom properties using the respective slider. To add a break, enter a duration in the window that appears and confirm by clicking \u201c<strong>Save<\/strong>\u201d. For a note, you can choose any title. A duration is not required. Simply enter the information in the comment field. With a note, you can, for example, record instructions for performing individual exercises (e.g., pyramid training, circuit stations, etc.). Confirm each entry by clicking \u201c<strong>Save<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<h4>Remove exercises \/ Edit order<\/h4>\n<p>To delete an exercise, select the corresponding checkboxes to the left of the exercises and click on the \u201c<strong>trash can icon<\/strong>\u201d at the bottom.<\/p>\n<p>To change the order, click on the &#8220;<strong>arrow symbol<\/strong>&#8221; in the \u201c<strong>Order<\/strong>\u201d column and move the exercises or breaks to the desired position.<\/p>\n<h4>Delete activity<\/h4>\n<p>Click on the &#8220;<strong>trash can icon<\/strong>&#8221; on the right side of the activity row under &#8220;<strong>Actions<\/strong>&#8221; and confirm by clicking on &#8220;<strong>Delete<\/strong>&#8221; in the window that appears.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\"><strong>Tip: <\/strong>Remember that you are creating activities here that you can use again and again later in your planning. If you want to adapt an activity for individual training sessions, you can do this directly in your planning without changing the templates saved under \u201c<strong>My Activities<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">If you work for several clubs, you can copy an activity you have created to another club. Select the activity(ies) and click on the \u201c<strong>Copy button<\/strong>\u201d below.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>My Favorites<\/h3>\n<p>Under &#8220;<strong>My Favorites<\/strong>&#8221; you can see all the activities that you have marked with a star either under &#8220;<strong>My Activities<\/strong>&#8221; or &#8220;<strong>Club Activities<\/strong>&#8221; (click on the &#8220;<strong>star symbol<\/strong>&#8221; on the right side of the corresponding activity under &#8220;<strong>Actions<\/strong>&#8220;). This way you have all your favorite activities together.<\/p>\n<h3>Club Activities<\/h3>\n<p>In &#8220;<strong>Club Activities<\/strong>&#8221; you can see all the activities that you or other coaches of your club have added and shared as club activities.<\/p>\n<h3>Library<\/h3>\n<p>In &#8220;<strong>Library<\/strong>&#8221; you can see all activities that either Force8 or your federation have added to the system and made available to you. Click on the &#8220;<strong>eye icon<\/strong>&#8221; under &#8220;<strong>Actions<\/strong>&#8221; to get an overview of the activity. If you want to add the activity to &#8220;<strong>My Activities<\/strong>&#8220;, click on the &#8220;<strong>+ symbol<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">Activities that you add to your activities from the club activities or the library are always copied as \u201c<strong>Linked activities<\/strong>\u201d. This means that changes to the original activity are automatically adopted. This ensures that your version is always up to date.
