The Family Connect module allows you to assign athletes from your club to a family member. The family member gains access to the assigned athletes, can see their schedules in a clear overview, and can register and deregister them for training sessions.<\/p>\n

This module is ideal for families with younger children who do not yet need their own account. In addition, the module allows athletes to be assigned to a family member even if they do not have their own email address.<\/p>\n

Create family members<\/h4>\n

Under COMMUNICATION – FAMILY CONNECT, you can see all your assigned athletes in the \u201cAthletes<\/strong>\u201d tab.<\/p>\n\n\n

The athletes must have been created by the club admin and assigned to you as a coach.<\/p>\n\n\n

Go to the \u201cMembers<\/strong>\u201d tab and click on \u201cActive Members<\/strong>\u201d to create new family members, to whom you can then assign athletes.<\/p>\n

Click on \u201c+ New<\/strong>\u201d and enter the first and last name as well as an email address in the window that appears. Optionally, you can assign a category to the family member. You must first create this by clicking on the \u201cCategories<\/strong>\u201d button and entering your desired categories there (e.g., \u2018Father\u2019 or \u201cMother\u201d).<\/p>\n

Under Athletes, select all the athletes you want to assign to this family member. If you check the box next to \u201cSend activation email(s)<\/strong>\u201d, an activation email will be sent to the family member immediately. However, you can also send this email at a later time.<\/p>\n

Add\/remove athletes<\/h4>\n

In the \u201cActive Members<\/strong>\u201d list, you can see all the family members you have created. The “Athletes<\/strong>”\u00a0column shows all athletes who were already assigned to this family member when it was created. If you click on the \u201cPerson icon<\/strong>\u201d in the \u201cActions<\/strong>\u201d column, you can add or remove athletes from this family member at a later date.<\/p>\n

Send activation email<\/h4>\n

By clicking on the \u201cenvelope icon<\/strong>\u201d in the “Actions<\/strong>” column, you can send the activation email if you have not already done during registration. A green envelope in the \u201cEmail verified<\/strong>\u201d column indicates that this family member has successfully logged in.<\/p>\n\n

Deactivate family members<\/h4>\n

Click on the \u201cPerson-X icon<\/strong>\u201d in the “Actions<\/strong>” column to set this family member to inactive. No information about this member will be lost. The inactive family member will then be listed in the \u201cInactive Members<\/strong>\u201d tab. Inactive members can be reactivated at any time by clicking on the \u201cPerson-\u2713 icon<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

A member listed under \u201cInactive Members<\/strong>\u201d can be permanently deleted if necessary by clicking on the \u201ctrash can icon<\/strong>\u201d. This will completely remove the member from the club.<\/p>\n\n\n

Important:<\/strong> Even if a member is completely deleted from the club, the email address remains linked to that deleted member. It is not released and therefore cannot be used by another user.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
