Follow this step-by-step guide on how to set up a new season properly so that you and all your club’s coaches can get on with planning straight away.
Step 1: Switch season
As soon as a new season has been activated for your sport, you can change the season in the top right-hand corner of your platform.

Step 2: Assign/remove athletes to coaches
Under SETTINGS – COACHES, click on the number in the “Athletes” column next to the name of the coach to whom you want to assign or remove athletes. In the list you can see which athletes are already assigned to this coach. Click on the “+ Assign” field at the top and select all the athletes you want to assign to this coach in the window that appears and then click on “Assign”.
If you want to remove athletes from the coach, select these athletes in the list and click on “– Unassign” at the top.
Step 3: Assign athletes/coaches to age groups
If your club works with age groups, you must assign the athletes and coaches to the corresponding age groups.
Step 4: Register athletes for new season
Click on ATHLETES in the main menu on the left below Dashboard, to see the list of all your assigned athletes. Check the box next to the athlete’s name and click on “Register season/FTEM” above the athlete list. Select the appropriate FTEM level from the drop-down menu or select “No FTEM” if you are working without FTEM levels.
The athletes are assigned the selected FTEM level and are now activated for the new season. From now on, the athletes can also select the new season on their platform.
Step 5: Create training group(s) and team(s)
If you have worked with training groups and teams, you will need to create them again for the new season.
You can create your training group(s) under TRAINING – GROUPS and your team(s) under COMPETITIONS – TEAMS. Then add the athletes and coaches to the group or team.
