Under TRAINING – TEMPLATES – SESSIONS you have four different tabs at the top. We will now explain what you can do under which tab.
1) My Sessions
Add session
Click on “+ New” on the right. Enter the name of the session and select the appropriate sport. If necessary, you can enter an goal setting, a description, an FTEM level and a location (later on, all terms entered here will be taken into the search function).
If you check the box “Club Session“, this session will be made available to all other club trainers. Then click on “Save“.
The session has been created and you are now directly in this session.
- In the “Details” tab you can customize the name, goal setting, description, location and FTEM level.
- In the “Activities” tab you can add activities to your session (more on this below).
- In the “Properties” tab you can customize the properties of the activity and set whether you want to ask for athlete feedback on the session.
- In the “Elements” tab you can see the elements tree of your sport. Link the session to the corresponding elements by clicking the checkbox(es) next to the elements you want to assign to the session.
Add activities to the session
If you are in a session, click on the “Activities” tab and then on “+ New activity“. You can search for terms in the search field or use the filters above to find the right activities faster. Click on the “+ icon” to the right of the activity you want to add to this session. In the window that appears, you can customize the name of the activity if necessary and select a location and specify the duration. Under “Properties” you can select a type and, if necessary, a method. Then click on “Save“.
Slide the sliders at “Activity Feedback” and/or “Exercise Feedback” to the right to ask athletes for feedback on the individual activities and the exercises. More about this in article 6) Athlete Feedback.
Add breaks
Click on “+ New Break“. In the window that appears, enter the duration of the pause and, if necessary, a comment and then click “Save“.
Edit order
Click on the “arrow icon” on the far left and move the activities/breaks to the desired place.
Remove activity from a session
When you are in the “Activities” tab, check the corresponding checkboxes to the left of the activities and click on the “trash can icon“.
Delete session
Click on the “trash can icon” under “My Sessions” on the right in the line of the session under “Actions” and confirm in the appearing window by clicking on “Delete“.
2) My Favorites
Under “My Favorites” you can see all sessions that you have marked with a star either under “My Sessions” or in the “Library” (click on the “star symbol” under “Actions” on the right of the corresponding session). This way you have all your favorite sessions together.
3) Club Sessions
In “Club Sessions” you can see all sessions that you or other trainers of your club have added and shared as a club session when creating them.
4) Library
In “Library” you can see all the sessions that either Force8 or your association have stored in the system and made available to you. Under “Actions“, click on the “eye icon” to get an overview of the session. If you want to add the session to “My Session“, click on the “+ symbol” or on the “star symbol“, if you want to add the session to “My Favorites“.
